Like a bad Joke, – What do you get when you mix two Artist? well when its Andy Skinner and Tracey Weinzapfel Stratton. The answer is “Dare to Create” challenge named “Skinzapfel”

This is what I have dare to create, Using MDF Ring and Butterfly, i apply gesso to both, then to the butterfly added using texture paste media from decoart,

Once the butterfly was dry added wash over the top, then added the die cuts and flowers. Using mirco-powders add up a sprays in serval colours and tones, to give a rusty aged look

On the ring I apply a rainbow of colours, then crackle graze, once dry add chalk paint over the crackle medium.

Well, its Andy Skinner new blog challenge, bright and bold.  This is my try at being ‘bright and bold.’

I used DecoArt Media Texture Paste and Sand Texture Paste on the background.  Also used the Texture paste in the Children Stencil.  It then was original painted in DecoArt Fluid Acrylics.  Also used Mdf shapes, lace and plastic bottle flowers for extra texture. Then made up a spray of pink to bring a Bright and Bold constant. (sorry about the lighting)
